Graffiti's is situated at the center
of Kensington Market and is constantly reinventing itself.
The original market dates back to British settlement
in the 1790s, after which it experienced waves of immigration
from many different countries. Today, Graffiti's
represents the true meaning of the word eclectic, representing
an area of more than 30 cultural backgrounds.

Now doesn't this look cozy? It's rumoured... SplatDeeKat
got lucky here and was caught under de bench, with his
paw prints on the wall upside down. Now only Emma knows
for sure, and Sam's sticking to his story. So I guess
we'll never know for sure what happened.
In more recent times, Kensington Market has lent its
name to CBC television shows like The King of Kensington,
and the brand-new sitcom Twitch City. There was even
a band called Kensington Market that recorded between
1967 and 1969 -- Sabrina Saccoccio.
Sit at Graffiti's
"market door" and watch the world go by. Kensington
Market is Toronto's most unique and exciting shopping
destination. Clothing, both new and vintage, fresh produce,
ethnic goods, furnishings, art and everything else under
the sun can be found in the market. A bargain hunter's
paradise! |
